Well I finally got my first roll of film from my Lomo cam developed! (Click here for my Lomo arrival story)
And after scanning the negatives using my Epson Perfection 1240U Photo scanner with transparency adapter - I selected a few of the frames, cropped the parts that I wanted to present, put them through Photoshop to adjust “levels” and “sharpness” and published them to my “gallery” website: etongrove.com.
And I am pleased. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Nice one Jag. I have a Lomo, but it rarely sees the light of day, as I have no way of getting the results onto my computer. It’s a nice little camera though.
Posted by: Stu on July 6, 2003 11:13 AMCheers Stu. Yes - it is a great cam. It’s more “instant on” than any digital that I’ve used - and it’s really quick to capture the action - no fumbling around taking delicate silver camera out of padded case and then waiting for a few seconds for the thing to power up - and then zooming etc. With digital the action is over and long gone by the time the light rays hit the CCD. With the Lomo - it’s out of your pocket and shoot. I’ve also noticed that you tend to take far fewer shots to get the “right” picture (take note Pew!) because of this - and besides - “bad” pictures are art with a Lomo! :-)
